Kathmandu — On the instructions of the President of Pakistan, former Chairman of the Senate Syed Nayyar Hussain Bokhari and Presidential Spokesperson Murtaza Solangi visited the Embassy of Nepal in Islamabad to express condolences and solidarity over the loss of lives and devastation caused by the recent floods and landslides in Nepal.

The representatives conveyed condolences from the President and people of Pakistan to the victims and their families and expressed solidarity with Nepal during the difficult period following the devastating natural disaster.

Nepal’s Ambassador to Pakistan Rita Dhital received the visiting representatives and expressed appreciation for the solidarity and support extended by the Government and people of Pakistan to Nepal.

During the visit, Syed Nayyar Hussain Bokhari and Murtaza Solangi also recorded messages of condolence and solidarity in the Visitors’ Book at the Embassy.

The visit reflects Pakistan’s support for Nepal and its people as the country continues rescue, relief and recovery efforts in the aftermath of the devastating floods.
